Chef Tai boasts more than 15 years of culinary expertise and is a distinguished culinarian who has traversed the globe in pursuit of his passion. He has garnered acclaim in the kitchen for his mastery of French, Italian, Asian, New American, and Elevated Soul Food cuisine, and has ascended the ranks at several of Saint Louis' most esteemed restaurants. In addition to his prowess as a savory chef, Davis is renowned for his avant-garde and innovative approach to pastry-making.
Custom Desserts
They don't call him the "Black Willy Wonka" for nothing. Tai provides a wide range of creative and delectable sweets and baked inspirations for private events, special celebrations, weddings, and private dinners, including artisanal chocolates, celebration cakes, and catered dessert bars. This fall Davis is is slated to open Fleur & Flour, a re-brand of Alchemy Bakery, featuring beposoke cakes, chocolates and floral arrangements.
Food Styling & Consulting
Tai has been a seasoned professional in the field of food styling for more than a decade. During this time, Tai has lent their expertise to numerous local and national food brands, styling food for them. Additionally, Tai has prepared and presented countless recipes for tradeshows, magazines, and cookbook photo shoots. Tai's skills extend to making food visually appealing and appetizing for TV commercials, advertisements, food packaging, and cooking shows. Tai derives immense pleasure from the art of making food look exquisite and delectable for the camera.
