About the Chef:

Tyler ‘Tai" Davis stands as one of the most promising talents emerging from Saint Louis. His boundless creativity and distinctive interpretations in the fields of food, art, and music have garnered immense praise from both the media and the general public. In 2020, this celebrated chef made the bold decision to leave behind his job and venture into a greater purpose: to inspire others. Driven by his passion for the arts, Davis realized that he had much more to offer and create, transcending the confines of a single pursuit. Hence, he embarked on rebranding himself, ambitiously amalgamating all of his passions into one career. Now unrestricted, Davis crafts contemporary art that takes inspiration from a diverse array of subjects including trauma, food, meditation, and sound.

In his debut year as an emerging artist, Davis was blessed with numerous commissions, notably showcasing his work on the theme of the humble egg at The Cedarhurst Museum of Art and being featured among an esteemed group of artists at The Angad Arts Hotel. By 2024, Davis had achieved remarkable milestones, winning the esteemed curators' choice award at the Soulard Art Gallery, exhibiting as a featured artist in The Missouri History Museum's LGBT+ Pride Exhibition and the Angad Hotel's biennial art exhibition. Additionally, he received the prestigious Artist of the Year Award from the esteemed Alchemy Artist Collective.

Diversifying his talents further, Davis actively engages in the realm of music, regularly performing with various orchestras, theaters, and vibrational sound practitioners in the Saint Louis Metro Area. In the culinary domain, he has transitioned his focus to restaurant consulting, private dinners, teaching, food styling, bespoke desserts, and personal chef services. In addition to his culinary expertise, artistic prowess, and musical prowess, Davis has also published two books: "Tai Davis: Pastry. A Visual Anthology of Culinary Works" and "Small Circle, Issue 4." At present, he is diligently working on his third book and dinner series, titled "Lineage," which promises to captivate readers and diners alike.
